Preparing Stock Solutions for Retigabine

The following data is based on the product molecular weight 303.33. Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to the degree of hydration, which will affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.

Select a batch to recalculate based on the batch molecular weight:
Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass 1 mg 5 mg 10 mg
1 mM 3.3 mL 16.48 mL 32.97 mL
5 mM 0.66 mL 3.3 mL 6.59 mL
10 mM 0.33 mL 1.65 mL 3.3 mL
50 mM 0.07 mL 0.33 mL 0.66 mL

Retigabine studied on HEK 293 cell line : Worked ideally on experimental conditions.
By Farzana Islam on 09/02/2018
Species: Human
Cell Line/Tissue: HEK 293

The aim of my study was to determine if Retigabine shows BK channel activation on Human Embryonic Kidney (HEK 293) cells, when compared to the standard BK activation of NS1619, carried out using non-radioactive Rubidium efflux method and analysed by Flame AAS. 100µM,10µM NS1619,1µM NS1619 and 0.1µM Retigabine concentrations have been used for the study and it performed well under experimental conditions. Graphs show Rubidium efflux percentage observed with Retigabine.

For sterile test compound, dissolve Retigabine in sterile DMSO under a hood.
