Submit Review3-Methyladenine is an inhibitor of class III phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI 3-kinase); also inhibits the autophagic sequestration of cell proteins in rat hepatocytes. Blocks apoptosis in cerebellar granule cells (CGCs) following serum and potassium deprivation.
3-Methyladenine is also offered as part of the Tocriscreen Kinase Inhibitor Library, Tocriscreen Antiviral Library and Tocriscreen Epigenetics Library. Find out more about compound libraries available from Tocris.
