Fexaramine is a potent, selective farnesoid X receptor agonist (EC50 = 25 nM). Displays no activity at hRXRα, hPPARα, hPPARγ, hPPARδ, mPXR, hPXR, hLXRα, hTRβ, hRARβ, mCAR, mERRγ and hVDR receptors.
