Biological Activity for FIN 56

FIN 56 is a bifunctional inducer of ferroptosis in vitro. Activates squalene synthase (SQS) leading to coenzyme Q10 depletion. Also induces degradation of glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4), via acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC).
