Biological Activity for LG 100268

LG 100268 is a potent and selective retinoid X receptor (RXR) agonist (EC50 = 4 nM). Displays >1000-fold selectivity for RXR over RAR. Activates RXR homodimers to induce transcriptional activation. Induces tissue transglutaminase (TGase) activity in HL-60 human promyelocytic leukemia cell line. Also activates RXR/PPARγ heterodimers.
